Soft Wash Cleaning for Homes in Pace & Milton
Not every exterior surface should be hit with 3,000 PSI of pressure-washer water. Painted wood, asphalt shingles, screened enclosures, stucco, and aluminum siding can all be damaged by high pressure — leaving you with a clean surface but stripped paint, blown-out caulking, or torn screens. Pace Pressure Washing Pros uses the right technique for the surface, and for many of the most common Northwest Florida cleaning jobs, that means soft wash.
We provide soft wash service across Pace, Milton, Bagdad, and East Milton. Call (850) 845-9110 for a free, honest quote.
What Is Soft Washing, Actually?
Soft washing is a low-pressure cleaning method that uses biodegradable cleaning solutions to do the work that high pressure can't do safely. Instead of physically blasting dirt and biological growth off a surface with raw water force, we apply a cleaning solution that kills algae, mildew, mold, and bacteria at the root, then rinse the dead organic matter away with low-pressure water.
The result is a cleaner surface that stays clean longer — because we've killed the spores, not just relocated them.
When You Need Soft Washing Instead of Pressure Washing
- Roof cleaning — high pressure damages shingles and voids warranties
- Painted wood siding — high pressure strips paint
- Vinyl and aluminum siding
- Stucco — high pressure can crack and pit the surface
- Screened enclosures and pool cages
- Cedar shake
- Outdoor furniture, awnings, canvas
- Solar panels — never pressure wash solar panels
The Soft Wash Process
- Assess the surface and choose the right cleaning solution.
- Pre-rinse, protect plants, and cover vulnerable fixtures.
- Apply soft wash solution at low pressure.
- Let it dwell long enough to kill biological growth.
- Rinse with low-pressure water and walk through the results.
How Long Soft Wash Results Last
Because we're killing the biological growth instead of just blasting it off, soft wash results typically last two to three times longer than a high-pressure-only clean. For most Northwest Florida homes, that means a once-a-year soft wash is usually enough to keep things looking sharp year-round.
